We are currently seeking a skilled and knowledgeable Operating Room Nurse to join our dynamic team at our Albany, NY medical facility. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in surgical procedures, patient care, and possess excellent communication and critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities:

Assist in surgical procedures such as prepping patients, monitoring anesthesia, and providing assistance to Surgeons and Anesthesiologists.

Monitor patient health before, during, and after surgery to ensure optimal outcomes.

Oversee the maintenance of surgical equipment and instruments.

Participate in pre-operative and post-operative patient education.

Responsible for managing patient flow in the operating room and ensuring that procedures are performed in an organized and efficient manner.

Document patient data and maintain patient records.

Qualifications:

Active RN license in the state of New York.

Minimum of two years of experience as an Operating Room Nurse.

Must possess excellent communication skills, be a team player, and exhibit critical thinking.

Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.

The candidate must be able to work independently, as well as part of a healthcare team.

BLS and ACLS certification required.

Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and on-call shifts.
