Sunbelt Staffing has an exciting 13-week contract opportunity in Syracuse, NY, for a skilled and dedicated Travel Radiation Therapist. You'll be an integral part of the cancer care team, utilizing your expertise to deliver precise radiation therapy treatments to patients.

Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate advanced radiation therapy equipment such as linear accelerators.
• Develop and implement treatment plans following physician's orders.
• Precisely position patients for optimal treatment delivery.
• Monitor patient progress and report any side effects.
• Provide emotional support and education to patients undergoing radiation therapy.
• Maintain meticulous treatment records and ensure adherence to safety protocols.
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive cancer care.

Qualifications:

• ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy (RTT) required.
• NYS Radiation Therapy license required.
• Minimum 2 year's of experience in a clinical setting treating cancer patients.
• Proficient in radiation safety procedures and treatment planning systems.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
