Suncoast Beverage Sales is Hiring a Human Resource Generalist Near Fort Myers, FL
Overview: Provides diversified administrative and clerical support to the Human Resource Staff and Managers. Interacts daily with all levels of employees within the organization. This position reports indirectly to the Human Resource Manager and directly to the Group Vice President.
Specific Job Responsibilities
- Conduct day-to-day operations of the HR department including employee onboarding, employee offboarding, employee verification, employee training and development, and performance and talent management
- Maintain accurate, detailed, and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation and manage the HRIS system and database
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices
- Assist in the improvement of existing processes, procedures, forms, and manuals
- Develop and maintain reports necessary for operational analysis and any other report pertinent to the department as determined by the Human Resource Manager or Group Vice President.
- Handle employment-related inquiries and assist in the communication of policy development and maintenance of the employee manual.
- Process requests for employee verification in accordance with company policy
- Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law
- Provide administrative and clerical support including but not limited to filing, scanning, posting, special projects, memos, and other communications
- Perform any other job-related tasks as required
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or relevant field, or Proven 5 year experience as an HR Specialist, HR Generalist, or similar role
- PC proficiency, knowledge of Microsoft Office, and experience with HRIS software and online platforms are required
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and oral, are necessary
- Significant organizational skills and attention to detail
- Must have a strong work ethic, the ability to complete all duties with a high degree of accuracy, meet deadlines and work independently if needed
