Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Lobby Attendant to join our team. As a Lobby Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of the lobby area in a professional and welcoming manner. This position requires excellent customer service skills and the ability to work independently.
Duties:
- Clean and maintain the lobby area, including floors, windows, furniture, and fixtures
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners as needed
- Dust and wipe down surfaces, including tables, chairs, and countertops
- Vacuum carpets and sweep/mop hard floors
- Ensure that all public areas are well-stocked with supplies, such as hand sanitizer and tissues
- Monitor and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management
- Provide exceptional customer service to guests by answering questions and addressing concerns in a friendly and professional manner
Skills:
- Previous experience in custodial or housekeeping preferred
- Knowledge of floor care techniques and equipment operation
- Familiarity with hotel or hospitality industry standards is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor
