As a Surgical Technologist, youwill play a crucial role in the surgical team, contributing to positive patientinteractions and ensuring the success of surgical procedures. Keyresponsibilities include:

• Assembling supplies and equipment for surgical procedures.
• Preparing the sterile instrument table and patient's skin for surgery.
• Maintaining aseptic techniques and monitoring situations to prevent breaches.
• Providing comfort and support for pre-operative patients.
• Assisting the surgical team during procedures, including passing instruments, sponges, and sutures.
• Transporting patients to and from the surgical suite.
• Maintaining the work area and gathering equipment for cleaning and sterilization.
• Assisting in monitoring the patient through the procedure.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Graduate of a formal surgical technologist program or equivalent training.
• Certification as a Surgical Technologist required.
• Hospital Surgical Tech experience preferred.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to sustain concentration over long periods.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience required; experienced techs from surgery centers will be considered.
• Not open to new grads.
