Position Summary:

As a Nurse Manager in the Emergency Servicesdepartment at Zentech Health, you will oversee the 24-hour, seven-day-a-weekfunctions of a clinical nursing unit. Your role is pivotal in ensuring qualitypatient care, which involves administering, planning, and evaluating departmentactivities. You will develop goals, policies, and procedures, prepare operatingand capital budgets, participate in multidisciplinary Quality Improvement (QI)teams, and collaborate with staff, physicians, and other departments as needed.Managing staffing patterns and adhering to facility standards of behavior arealso crucial aspects of this role.

Requirements

Qualifications:

• Current Florida RN licensure required
• Associate’s Degree required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• 3 years of clinical hospital experience in the ER
• At least 1-2 years of leadership experience in the ER… ideally Assistant Nurse Manager/Manager candidates
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Instructor must be obtained within 60 days of employment start date
• Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) Instructor must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Instructor must be obtained within 60 days of employment start date
• COVID-19 vaccination is required based on local, state, and/or federal regulations unless a medical or religious exemption is approved.
