Brief Summary Of The PositionSunGreen is seeking a project management professional to assist in managing projects from inception to deployment. You will play a critical role at SunGreen, delivering projects with efficiency, professionalism, and quality to ensure 100% internal and customer satisfaction. In this role, you will work closely with our partners, vendors, internal resources, and customers to successfully deliver commercial solar projects through system commissioning. ResponsibilitiesWork collaboratively with other SunGreen team members in planning and execution of projects (i.e. - field operations, sales, design, interconnection, accounting, safety, procurement)
Assist in managing projects from engineering through permitting, construction, and commissioning
Performing design reviews to ensure construction plans are correct and consistent with contracts
In-person job site visits during construction to oversee quality of work and maintain schedules
Assist in managing subcontractor relations and ensure work is performed as negotiated
Assist in monitoring projects and reporting status against planned schedules and program financials
Handling project escalations, resolving issues and addressing risks across projects and partners
Customer coordination and communication to manage expectations and deliver successful projects
2 - 3 years of commercial solar photovoltaic project operations experience, including job site experience
Ability to interpret and understand electrical and structural plans
Current knowledge of building codes and construction standards, such as the National Electrical Code and AHJ requirements
Experience with California utilities is a plus
Solutions-oriented with a desire to tackle unique challenges
Computer and software proficiency, including Microsoft 365, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
Strong time management, organizational and problem-solving skills
Good leadership and people management skills,
Excellent internal and client-facing communication skills
