Job Description
Sunland Group, Inc. is seeking Junior Estimator for immediate placement in our Denver, CO office. The Junior Estimator will be responsible for providing detailed cost estimates based upon schematic, design development, and construction documents. The Junior Estimator will interface with other estimating disciplines as well as the other members of the Project Team and Owner Representatives.
Requirements:
- Team player, excellent interpersonal skills and a cooperative attitude
- Analytical skills and attention to detail
- Responsible, ethical, and conscientious nature
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills
- 1-3 years of construction estimating experience
- Ability to read and understand plans and specifications for various CSI Divisions
- Basic knowledge of construction techniques and production rates
- Ability to perform take-off quantities from design documents
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
Preferences:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil, Architectural, Construction Management, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or similar field of study preferred.
- Field experience may be substituted for educational requirements.
