As we continue to grow, we're looking for a friendly catering assistant! Our catering assistants are the heart of our operation, and you'll assist a team catering fresh and seasonal food to our customers. Like our award winning pumpkin pancakes made with a secret, scratch-made batter, cooked to a golden, fluffy perfection, and topped with cinnamon butter and a tres leches drizzle!

Job Summary:

• Assist the Catering Manager in the preparation and production of catering orders
• This position will help support our growing catering business in the local market.
• Food prep and order production and presentation. You will work closely with our Catering Manager to produce beautiful food!
• You'll be cross trained in our BOH systems, and have the ability to work all stations to support each cafe as needed. This also allows the potential to pick up additional hours as we continue to ramp up our catering business.
• Provide flexible support across our cafes, with the opportunity for additional hours as our catering business grows.
• Uphold our commitment to reliability, punctuality, and meticulous attention to detail.
• Assist with the setup, delivery, and breakdown of catering events as needed.
• Assist team members in other areas as needed

Job Requirements:

• Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
• Flexibility to work breakfast and lunch hours, with some weekend availability.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation for potential catering deliveries.
• Help create a pleasant work environment where employees love coming to work
• Flexibility to work any shifts, including weekends
• Ability to move or lift up to 30 pounds
• Have a great attitude and desire to learn and excel at your job (training will be provided!)
• Team-oriented
• Be on time, be dependable, be detail oriented!

Our ideal candidate:

• The ideal candidate would have experience in catering or a breakfast/lunch restaurant setting
• Full service breakfast experience a plus

Pay: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
