The Sourcing Specialist is responsible for executing sourcing strategies to reduce costs and analyzing vendor spend. A successful candidate should have experience participating in sourcing events and category analysis. Experience in the fuel/midstream/energy space is also desired. The scope of the position will include preparation and execution of sourcing processes, contract & supplier management, and preparing supplier scorecards. Position may be based out of our Dallas or Philadelphia office.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist with analysis, development and implementation of cost savings initiatives
• Provide analysis and research to help sourcing team determine procurement activities
• Coordinate and assist with negotiations, contract development, contract implementation, and supplier contract compliance
• Work with appropriate operations team as needed on identified areas of opportunity
• Quantify and model financial savings related to opportunity
• Prepare for and participate in ongoing business reviews to ensure suppliers are performing to contracted obligations and service levels
• Solicit advice from manager regarding procurement processes and protocol and apply appropriate solutions to issues for stakeholders
• Act as a buyer as needed to support operations and ensure purchasing process is carried out appropriately

• Years of work experience: 2 – 5 years of experience
• Data analytics, sourcing, procurement systems, and customer service.
• Business software applications: Microsoft Office, APTTUS/Agiloft or other contract management software, and SAP or other purchasing software.

• Usually, normal office working conditions.
• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
• Occasional overnight travel may be required.
• Occasional visits to industrial/manufacturing settings, which may include exposure to various materials and chemicals, as well as extreme temperature conditions and loud machinery, and require appropriate personal protective equipment.
