This Opportunity 

Sunrise Engineering is currently initiating a search for a Chief Financial Officer to support our growing organization. This Full Time position can report in any of these Utah offices: Salt Lake, Springville, Nephi, Fillmore, Richfield, Cedar City or St. George.

Make a Lasting Impact 

Join our team and make a lasting impact for our organization. This role will be a key leader in developing processes and tools to improve our reporting, analytics, and controls within the finance function. We are looking for candidates who are: 

Keen in Financial Strategy. In this role, you will become intimately familiar with company financial statements, trends, forecasts, and operating plans to effectively advise the business and finance strategies and ultimately optimize the company’s financial performance. You will be able to develop strategies for tax management optimization and effectiveness by understanding the regulations and requirements.

A Forecasting Aficionado and Staff Consultant. Your ability to accurately provide financial projections and forecasts will allow you to act as a financial consultant to our staff. You will forecast cash requirements and obligations, you will be able to manage our cashflow and cash position. You will influence sales effectiveness by recommending product and service pricing policies and strategies. By coordinating budget/forecast preparation, collecting, analyzing, and consolidating financial information, you will be able to advise department managers and support our company’s financial objectives.

A Strong Leader and Team Player. To succeed in this role, you’ll need a track record of working with cross-functional teams, a strong business acuity and experience with driving balance sheet, cash flow analysis, and building models. Your strong project management, presentation, oral and written skills will allow you to complete or oversee corporate projects, data gathering, and presentation preparation.

Proven and Experienced. For this role, we are looking for someone who is an expert. Having 5 years as a Chief Financial Offer, strong leadership and communication skills, experience with M&A’s, software conversion experience a plus with Microsoft Dynamics and BI big pluses, and a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance will make you the ideal candidate. Having a CPA or CMA is not required, but it is preferred.
