Sunrise Hospice, Inc. is Hiring a Hospice Volunteer Near Myrtle, SC

Job Summary:
We are seeking dedicated Volunteers to support our organization in providing care and assistance to individuals in need. As a Volunteer, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of those we serve.

Duties:
- Assist with daily activities and tasks as directed by the supervising staff.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to individuals.
- Help maintain a clean and organized environment.
- Support individuals with special needs in various activities.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance skills related to the role.

Skills:
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and confidentiality practices.
- Experience in assisted living or nursing home environments is beneficial.
- Ability to administer medications following proper protocols.
- Comfort working with individuals with autism and behavior management techniques.
- Capable of heavy lifting when necessary.
- Familiarity with direct support services for individuals in need.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to different situations.
