Sunrise Services, INC. is seeking a Maintenance and Facilities Assistant to join our facilities team! This is a full-time, temporary role, expected to last until the end of September, 2024.

About the Program :

Sunrise Services is looking for an experienced Maintenance Worker. In this role, you will have hands-on responsibility for buildings, equipment, and supplies.

General Responsibilities : Assist with building and facilities maintenance, building repairs, light renovations, and maintaining grounds.

Essential Functions : (Tasks, Responsibilities, and Competencies. May not include all duties of this job.)

• Perform and assist in basic building and facility repair work such as painting and drywall repair.
• Perform and assist in building maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, cleaning, and pressure washing.
• Assist Maintenance Workers with light building renovations.
• Assist in grounds keeping tasks such as removing trash and debris, weeding, and mulching.
• Help maintain Sunrise-owned facilities in good working order, including picking up trash both indoors and outdoors as needed.
• Alert the Supervisor to any building problems; make suggestions as appropriate.
• Move furniture as assigned.
• Maintain records as required.
• Secure parts and supplies as needed.
• Keep assigned vehicle clean. Report any problems or issues with the vehicle.
• Perform and assist in basic plumbing tasks such as faucet replacement, toilet repair, plunging, and using a snake to clear clogs.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Requirements : (Any Equivalent Combination of Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education, and Experience)

• Education : High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Licensure / Certification : N / A
• Other Considerations :

o DSHS background clearance required.

o Valid current Washington Driver’s License.

o Auto insurance.

o Acceptable driving record.

o Skill utilizing basic tools.

Schedule : 8 am - 4 : 30 pm

8 am - 4 : 30 pm

Compensation :

• $19 - $22 / hour
• Wages are determined by applicable industry experience, education, and certifications / licensure.
