We are currently seeking a professional Express Service Advisor to join our service team at Sunset Kia of Venice , a proud member of the Sunset Automotive Group family of dealerships.
Service Advisors are the customer service ambassadors and representatives of the service department to our valued Kia clients. In this role, you will be the point of contact for express service customers, so you will need to be responsive, friendly, and helpful at all times. Specific duties will include:

• Use active listening to engage and understand the customer's vehicle maintenance needs.
• Create repair order and enter vehicle maintenance needs, communicating issues clearly to the service technician.
• Communicate additional vehicle diagnoses and maintenance needs to customer. Advise clients and sell needed work.
• Follow up on vehicles throughout the repair process, keeping customer updated.

Previous experience as a service advisor is preferred, but not required. We are willing to train.

Service Advisor Requirements
Ideally, we are looking for someone with a history advising automotive service clients at a high level of customer service. Regardless of experience, however, the position requires someone to have or be:

• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with follow through, organization, and proven customer service skills.
• Some basic automotive knowledge required.
• Intermediate computer and tablet skills
• X-Time Inspect and Reynolds & Reynolds Ignite experience helpful.
• Successful candidate must have a valid Driver's License
