Overview:
Sunset Lake Construction, LLC is the fasted growing residential and commercial concrete company on the Northern Oregon coast. We are seeking a skilled Concrete Worker to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess experience in the construction industry and demonstrate proficiency in forming, pouring, and finishing concrete to precise specifications.
Responsibilities:
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and equipment to form and finish concrete surfaces.
- Construct and set up concrete forms accurately.
- Adhere to safety procedures while operating heavy equipment and power tools.
- Mix, pour, and spread concrete efficiently.
- Level and smooth concrete surfaces using trowels or floats.
- Apply sealants as instructed to safeguard concrete from weather-related damage.
Requirements:
- Proficiency in general carpentry practices.
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues, vendors, and contractors.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in commercial concrete forming, pouring, and finishing is required.
- Preferred ability to interpret blueprints and construction schematics.
- Potential for prevailing wage assignments periodically throughout the year.
