SUMMARY:
This position is the support staff for financial and administrative personnel. The Payroll Clerk is responsible for payroll and all related reporting requirements. This position may fill in with other parts of the Finance Department.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Prepare payroll and all related Government tax reporting requirements (monthly, quarterly and annual).
2. Keep individual employee payroll records.
3. Prepare workers compensation voluntary audit report.
4. Assist Accounting Manager with preparation for annual audit(s).
5. Maintain a procedure desk manual.
6. Assist in administration of personnel policies as they relate to employee payroll and benefits.
7. Assist with New Employee Orientation as it relates to payroll.
8. Work as a team in cross checking and review of other employees’ work in the Finance Department as directed by supervisor and policy and procedures.
9. Responsible for the maintenance and updating of payroll related forms, i.e. time-sheets, leave information and forms, reimbursements, etc.
10. Maintain positive working relationship with all staff in all departments.
11. Other duties as assigned.
