Sunshine Community Health Center is Hiring a Quality Administrator Near Talkeetna, AK

SUMMARY:
The Quality Administrator position is an essential part of the Quality/Compliance department, and SCHC’s patient centered, team- based approach to healthcare, and is responsible for managing quality data systems and platforms, monitoring data collection and a crucial part of reporting to multiple entities. The Quality Administrator will help provide data management and audits to maintain requirements. This position may develop reports needed, goals and reporting processes, perform checks, mappings, reviews, and manage quality integrity for multiple areas. This position will become a subject matter expert in Patient Centered Medical Home (PCMH), Uniform Data Systems (UDS) and data reporting platforms such as Azara DRVS. This position will be part of the Alaska Quality Improvement Network (AQUIN) for the CHC’s of our State. This is an Hourly position and will be at .8 FTE (32 hours/week). ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
(Applicants must pass a background check, reference check, and pre-employment drug screening and provide proof of current Covid vaccination and booster prior to employment.)
  • Develops and runs reports, audits and clean-ups of Quality Measures on multiple data platforms; tracks reports and results in the Quality Reporting Library. These reports include:
    • Uniform Data System Reports
    • Patient-Centered Medical Home Reports
    • Operational, Financial, Revenue Cycle, and Workflow Audits
  • Complete understanding and background of Clinical Quality Measures
    • Audits and workflows related to meeting goals
  • Maintains the integrity of clinical quality data in the Electronic Health Record, Azara DRVS, and other data platforms.
  • Collaborates with other agencies and groups to increase knowledge and expertise in performance measures.
    • Including but not limited to:
      • AK Primary Care Association, AQUIN
      • National Committee of Quality Assurance, Patient Centered Medical Home –

      • NACHC- National Association of Community Health Centers
      • IHI – Institute for Healthcare Improvement
  • Subject Matter Expert for Patient-Centered Medical Home. Creates educational materials for PCMH and other quality items and presents them to staff and board members.
  • Subject Matter Expert for Azara DRVS. Administration of Azara DRVS. Assists the quality team in training staff on Azara DRVS.
  • Management and Maintenance of the Quality Reporting Library. Ensures the QRL is up to date and complete. Ensures all quality reporting sections of procedures are being maintained in the QRL and following up with quality department staff on overdue reports.
  • PDSA Cycle Documentation – documents any identified PDSA Cycle the quality department is aware of and follows up with project leads on timeline and due dates.
  • Participation in the Quality of Workforce Committee, the Board PIQARM Committee, and any other committees deemed appropriate by the Chief Quality Officer.
  • Participation in the creation and training of Quality Department positions
  • Other duties as assigned.

EDUCATIONAND/OREXPERIENCE:

Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in clinical, biological, or mathematical sciences preferred. Two or more years of experience within a data management role either in a FQHC, hospital setting, or other health care industry preferred.
