Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Office Specialist to join our dynamic medical office team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in medical terminology and office management, with a focus on providing exceptional patient care and administrative support. This is a fast-paced role that requires a highly organized and detail-oriented individual who is comfortable working in a busy clinic environment. Duties

- Greet patients and answer phone calls in a professional and courteous manner.
- Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
- Utilize HealthTrust Software to update patient records and perform administrative tasks.
- Assist with scheduling appointments, preparing charts, and ordering medical supplies.
- Handle billing and insurance claims, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
- Perform a variety of administrative tasks, such as filing, photocopying, and scanning documents.
- Maintain a clean and organized office environment.
- Support the front desk team with patient check-in and check-out processes.
- Handle urgent care situations in a calm and professional manner.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of medical terminology and procedures.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure seamless patient care.

Skills

- Proficiency in HealthTrust Software.
- Experience working in a medical office or urgent care setting.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and procedures.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Knowledge of medical records management and billing procedures.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $10.00 per hour
