Sunstar's mission is to enhance the health and well-being of people everywhere via its four business areas: mouth and body, health and beauty, healthy home, safety and technology Position Summary: Unloading shipping containers containing various product types and weights and includes sorting, labelling and wrapping pallets. Ensure proper sorting, segregating and staging of product for both international and domestic freight. Essential Job Functions:
Inspect containers for damage and report any issues
Match the packing slip with all SKU's on the container
Organize and sort items from the containers onto pallets
Sort the materials by SKU, lot number, and purchase order
Build pallets per pallet specs designated for each sku
Stretch wrap pallets when appropriate
Segregate damaged shippers/ cartons on a separate pallet and notify supervisor
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
When shipping or assembly is short staffed could support those departments
Education
High school diploma or GED Preferred
Knowledge/Experience
Prior exposure in a manufacturing or distribution environment
Skills
Excellent analytical and mathematical skills
Must be able to speak, read and write in English
Good Oral communication skills
Must be able to pass GMP and Master Control training.
Abilities

Able to multitask different projects and directions

Must be able to lift up to 40 Ibs without restriction
