Suntrup Ford Westport is hiring driver/porter. Driver is responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of parts to our commercial customers, safe pickup and delivery of customer vehicles. Also responsible for the cleanliness of delivery vehicle, shop and parts department.
Hours: 8am to 5pm Monday through Friday. (1 hour lunch) (When needed could be past 5pm)
Job Responsibilities:

• Deliver parts and products to customer and pick up customer returns
• Maintain all necessary documents, invoices, return slips, mileage log, fuel receipts, etc.
• Project a professional and personable image to maintain good customer relations
• Report vehicle maintenance needs immediately to parts manager
• Drive safely and defensively, adhering to all company safety standards and laws
• Able to efficiently and accurately stock parts, count and organize
• Help with tasks throughout the parts department (Inventory, Counting Parts, etc)
• Collecting Cores, labeling
• Cleaning, taking trash out
• Cleaning up shop, and other Shop needed tasks.
• Help with pickup and delivery of customer vehicles.
• Parking Service vehicles, pulling vehicles around for customers.

Qualifications:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Ability to provide outstanding, friendly, and professional customer service
• Must be able to Pass Drug test, AND Random tests
• Must Pass Criminal background check.
• Good interpersonal communication skills
• Ability to adapt quickly and effectively to changing delivery situations
• Familiarity with automotive parts is required
• Must have a valid driver's license with a clean motor vehicle record (MVR)
• Must have good attendance
• Must be good with numbers and verifying parts/orders
• Must be able to life and move min of 50lbs
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time and walking.
• Must be able to drive Full Size Transit Van (GPS Equipped to track deliveries)
