Master's degree in Divinity/Theology or equivalency, endorsed and/or ordained and in good standing with one's faith tradition and a minimum of 2 years experience working in a clinical setting plus excellent written/oral and interpersonal skills and ability to be a team player required. The ideal candidate will have 4 units (1600 hours) of Clinical Pastoral Education from the ACPE, and Board Certified or eligible by a national pastoral care organization. Current Board Chaplain Certification in the Association for Professional Chaplains/ The National Catholic Chaplains Association/ The National Association of Jewish Chaplains. Minimum of one year post CPE training experience in palliative care.
Preferred Qualifications:Strong team building qualities, ability to work with complex clinical cases, strong spiritual assessment skills, experience as a hospice chaplain, strong education skills with other clinical staff, skilled in engaging with a variety of learners for collaboration and consultation. Passionate about palliative care and obtaining additional national certification, contributing to the palliative care literature, being involved locally, state, regionally and nationally in the palliative care and hospice movement
Work Days:Monday through Friday 8:30AM-5:00PM
