Role Summary: We are seeking an experienced Structural Engineer with robust experience in designing and managing various structural projects. The ideal candidate will hold a Professional Engineer (PE) license or an Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification with eligibility to acquire a PE license. This role involves proactive oversight in the development of structures from conception through construction, ensuring designs meet specifications and industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead structural design projects for water/wastewater containment structures, buildings, and bridges.
  • Perform structural analysis and design tasks using computational tools and software.
  • Evaluate the integrity of existing structures and recommend repair or enhancement strategies.
  • Prepare detailed reports and design documents, ensuring compliance with regulations and client requirements.
  • Collaborate with architects, civil engineers, and construction managers to ensure project success.
  • Adapt designs to accommodate project challenges and innovations, maintaining a balance between creativity and cost-efficiency.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
  • Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in structural engineering.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification, with the path to licensure.
  • Expertise in structural design and analysis software.
  • Demonstrated experience with diverse structural projects in both public and private sectors.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience with the design and assessment of water/wastewater structures.
  • Knowledge of sustainable and innovative construction practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to manage cross-disciplinary project teams.
