Superheat FGH Services Inc. is currently recruiting for a Project Manager / Field Supervisor out of our Minneapolis MN (Cannon Falls MN) office!

Hourly wage will be based off applicable experience and skillset with annual performance-based wage increases. Superheat provides reimbursement for the cost of travel/per diem as well as offering benefits (Medical, Vision and Dental). Overview

Superheat specializes in On-Site Heat treatment of various types of metals within the oil and gas industry. The Field Supervisor is responsible for the overall efficient and safe operations of the start-up and day to day activities for the assigned project. This includes all pre-planning requirements in conjunction with the Technical Department and Area Manager.

Duties and Responsibilities

Project Coordination and Planning

  • Assist the Technical Department and Area Manager with the completion of the Project Control Plan.
  • Conduct and participate in job walks.
  • Support Asset Management in the delivery and arrival of required equipment to the site.
  • Coordinate on-site labor requirements with the Area Manager.
  • Coordinate on-site equipment requirements with the Technical Department and Asset Management.

Communication and Customer Relations

  • Build and maintain customer relations and coordinate all customer requirements and requests.
  • Liaise with the customer during the project and advise of progress and execution status.
  • Maintain regular communication with the Technical Department and Area Manager, reporting any non-conformances or irregular incidents immediately.

Resource and Quality Management

  • Manage on-site resources to meet all Quality Assurance requirements and customer requests daily.
  • Provide troubleshooting support to field personnel in conjunction with the SmartCenter.
  • Ensure support of controls on all equipment problems and malfunctions and apply corrective actions as directed by the Equipment Manager.

Safety and Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with all site safety requirements.
  • Investigate and report all accidents and near misses.
  • Enforce Superheat Safety Policies.
  • Conduct daily safety meetings with workers and document attendance.

Site Operations and Debriefing

  • Ensure secure communication links between Site Operations and the SmartCenter.
  • Ensure proper site demobilization in conjunction with Asset Management.
  • Provide a job debriefing with the Area Manager to discuss company performance, customer feedback, and areas for improvement.

Training & Administrative Tasks

  • Provide on-the-job training, coaching, and support to Unit Supervisors and Field Technicians.
  • Communicate background information to the Estimating Department and the Regional Manager or designate.

Work Experience & Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in construction industry
  • Experience working in an industrial construction atmosphere (Oil refineries, Power plants, etc…)
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Able to meet the physical demands of the position
  • Proven leadership and management skills
  • Dedicated to high level of customer service
  • Three to five years of demonstrated supervisory and/or project management experience
  • Extensive travel required
  • Working overtime as requested
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record
  • Ability to pass all drug testing and background check requirements

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
