Superior Communication Service is Hiring a Low Voltage Technician Near Atlanta, GA

Low Voltage Technician

Superior Communication Services is seeking reliable and motivated technicians of all levels of experience to join our rapidly growing structured cabling team. We take great pride in producing the highest quality of work and exceeding customer expectations. If you are dependable, hard-working, and a team player, this could be the role for you

This is a non-union position and may require travel.

Responsibilities

  • Roughing in, terminating, and testing copper cabling. Fiber termination experience is a plus
  • Installing pathway supports such as j-hooks and ladder trays
  • Servicing/troubleshooting network cabling in a commercial environment
  • Installing closet hardware including backboards, connecting blocks, racks, patch panels and fiber enclosures

Qualifications and Skills

  • Technical skills and knowledge of structured cabling systems
  • Ability to follow blueprints, notes, and specifications.
  • Working knowledge of TIA and BICSI Standards
  • Industry specific manufacturer certifications and BICSI training and/or certifications preferred.
  • Excellent time management, planning and decision-making skills.
  • Enjoys hands-on problem solving in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Ability to work well both independently and as part of a professional team with a positive and professional attitude.
  • Must maintain a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
  • Experience with AV and/or access control a plus.

Education

  • High school or equivalent
