Superior Skilled Trades is seeking Solar Service Technicians located in Arkansas, AR!!

Location: Arkansas, AR

Position: Solar Field Technician

Start Date: ASAP

Pay: $28-$33/hour (based on experience)

Hours: 7am – 4pm (40 hrs)

Duration: Ongoing - long term duration

Responsibilities:

- Comfortable working in all weather conditions.

- Adherence to all OSHA, job site, and construction safety procedures.

Research and Development Support:

- Assist the R&D team in preparing, conducting, and recording testing procedures.

- Fabricate prototype racking components for use in testing.

Construction and Installation:

- Accurately construct racking systems according to prints and instructions.

- Monitor and manage long-term testing setups, conducting maintenance and repairs as needed.

Documentation and Reporting:

- Document and report observed damages during testing for analysis.

- Track and report inventory of newly arrived samples for testing.

- Monitor the movement and use of existing materials and samples on-site.

Communication and Team Collaboration:

- Communicate consistently with all team members to maintain operational efficiency.

- Observe and ensure safe working conditions for all team members.

Task Management:

- Assist management in completing task assignments in a timely manner.

- Request resources as needed to fulfill job requirements.

Travel and Mobility:

- Tasks includes traveling to other sites within driving distance, either with management or independently as needed with your own vehicle (milage will be reimburse with proofs of receipts).

Equipment and Certifications:

- Proficient in electronics, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and maintenance.

- Possession of OSHA 30 certification.

- Verified certifications for forklift and skid steer operation.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience in solar installation, framing, or construction.

- Strong technical skills related to solar field work.

- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.

- Effective communication and collaboration skills.

- Ability to work independently and with a team.

- Flexibility and adaptability to a dynamic work environment.

- Valid driver's license.!
