SuprTEK is looking for an experienced Lab Technician to join our Secure Configuration Management (SCM) team in the National Capital Region supporting DISA (i.e., 5 year contract).
Job ResponsibilitiesThis position will be a member of the lab support team. The lab consists of both ZONE D and ZONE B physical, virtual, and cloud assets. The virtual and cloud environments are managed with VMware and Azure Portal. The lab supports multiple programs and tenants with both permanent and temporary buildouts supporting integration testing, implementation testing, IV&V and UAT activities.
Job Requirements
- Must possess a security clearance of Secret or above.
- Security CE certification required
- Two or more years of demonstrated experience with VMWare administration.
- Possess a solid knowledge vCenter, vSAN, permissions and other VMWare practices and procedures.
- Experience with MS Office 365 (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook etc), TEAMS.
- Outstanding team player with the ability to independently work with minimal daily direction.
- Any one VMware certification (VCP, VCAP, VCTA, etc...) or Azure certification (Fundamentals, Administrator, Security Engineer, etc
- Azure Administrator Associate (Exam AZ-103)
- One or more years of IT experience working with DoD; One or more years in a DoD cyber security environment
- Experience with DoD enterprise security and management applications as ACAS, ESS, HIPS, WSUS, Satellite, Splunk, etc
- Knowledge of Microsoft enterprise management software to include Active Directory (GPO’s, User permissions, etc…), PKI, VDI, etc
- Prior work experience with scripting technologies (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, Python) or a strong desire to learn one
- The ability to learn, grow and assume new responsibilities.
