Our company is currently seeking a Psychiatric Nurse to help care for our patients in an inpatient psychiatric hospital. The successful candidate will be responsible for administering medications, maintaining records and communicating with patients' doctors. This is a fast-paced environment where the nurse must be able to multi-task and make quick decisions. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a busy psychiatric hospital and will have completed at least two years of nursing school.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure that patients are kept safe at all times.
• Provide basic nursing care to patients.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients.
• Adhere to hospital regulations, federal and state laws, and nursing standards of practice.
• Perform physical exams including checking vital signs, listening to heart and lungs, palpating abdomen, and taking blood pressure.
• Communicate with doctors in order to be aware of current treatments.

Pay: $250.00 - $650.00 per day
