SURESTAFF is immediately hiring Shipping & Receiving Associate for a large, well-known client in Marengo, IL. As a Shipping & Receiving Associate for SURESTAFF, you will work in a fast-paced distribution environment and be involved in all aspects of warehouse operations including:

• Shipping & Receiving (Picker / Packer)
• Quality Assurance
• Inventory Control (RF Scanners)

1st shift (5am-2:30pm) Mon-ThursOvertime is available on a first come, first serve basis. Responsibilities of the Shipping & Receiving Associate:

• Load and unloads materials with Forklift equipment.
• Prepares loads and products for shipment through counting, weighing tallying and verifying.
• Maintains material and finished product inventory location and accuracy.
• Removes and disposes of packing, scrap, material, skids, and cardboard.
• Performs cycle counts.
• Inspecting for damage and discrepancies and comparing inbound/outbound shipments to packing lists and bill of lading to ascertain that quantities and destinations and processing are accurate.

Required Qualifications of the Shipping & Receiving Associate:

• 5 plus years of previous warehouse experience preferred.
• High attention to detail and safety/compliance.
• Demonstrate good communication skills, problem-solving skills, and sound judgement.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.
