The Surfsand Resort in Cannon Beach is currently seeking a Window Cleaner to join our team! The ideal candidate will be responsible for cleaning the exterior windows and patio windows of the hotel’s guest rooms.

The wage for this part-time position is $16 per hour PLUS $1.50 hour Summer Incentive Bonus June 1st - Labor Day! The hours required for this position are 10am – 3pm Wednesday – Sunday.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Clean exterior windows and patio windows
• Cleaning guest patios and covers on AC units
• Cleaning hotel exterior lobby windows
• Complies with hotel safety prevention rules and techniques, including fire safety.
• Complies with hotel energy conversation program.
• Notifies supervisor of incidents that may affect normal business operations or guest service.
• Responds promptly and follows through on guest complaints in effective and friendly manner.
• Perform custodial tasks related to window cleaning
• Maintain cleanliness of tools and equipment
• Adheres to key control policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Prior experience in commercial cleaning or custodial work preferred
• Ability to work efficiently and independently
• Attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning tasks
• Previous customer service experience
• Available to work weekends, and holidays as needed
