Busy, growing Orthopedic office is looking to hire a Full-time Medical Assistant (Certified). Ideal candidate would be able to assist with back office, as well as Front Desk duties.
Applicant must be a hard worker with a great attitude who is willing to work. Must be able to conform to, and promote the image and ethics that our practice is known for.
Qualities we're looking for:

-Strong computer skills with preference given to EMR knowledge

Job Description:
-Greet and welcome patients in a friendly manner
-Take thorough patient history & vitals
-Communicate pertinent history to Doctor
-Complete patient notes quickly and accurately
-Phlebotomy required on occasion
-Maintain exam rooms (refill supplies, clean table between patients, etc.)
-Scan, fax, email confidential information
-Handle medical records with discretion
Experience and skills:
- EMR experience (Allscripts preferred) along with ability to type at 30 wpm
- Medical Assistant Certification
- Strong customer service focus
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Team oriented
- Organized and able to manage competing priorities
- Display good judgment
- Resourcefulness in problem solving
- Able to take and follow through with delegated tasks and accountability
This is a small, but busy office where everyone wears multiple hats. Knowledge of and willingness to assist other positions (back office, Front Desk, X-ray, etc.) is highly desirable. We are a very grounded, family oriented practice, and are looking for someone to join an established, drama-free team.
