Job Description:

• Follow and implement all policies and procedures
• Collect and submit production and team reports
• Communicate updated information to the team
• Deliver weekly schedules to ensure coverage of work activities and breaks
• Identify, assign, and follow‐up on work activities of the team under your supervision
• Recommend methods that will increase productivity and efficiency
• Create opportunities for team members to provide input on procedures and share their expertise with management
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Perform mold set-up, start-up, troubleshooting, repair, and approval of production runs
• Communicate with the Quality, Materials and Scheduling personnel to ensure efficient resolution of problems and minimal machine downtime
• Monitor molding parameters using approved techniques
• Initiate work orders to correct problems with molds, molding machines, and auxiliary equipment
• Comply with health and safety regulations and always wear protective gear
• Train personnel in proper molding machine operations

Position Requirements:

• Previous Leadership experience is required
• Previous Injection Molding experience is required
• Warehouse and/or manufacturing experience is a plus
• Ability to direct and train others
• Display a cooperative and positive attitude
• Ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and meet strict deadlines
• Strong organization and interpersonal skills
• Reliable
• Team-oriented
