Entry Level Directed Energy Engineer
Position Summary
SURVICE Engineering is currently seeking an Entry Level Directed Energy Engineer to support several DoD programs. The successful candidate will be working within a dynamic multi-disciplinary team to solve challenging problems for the defense community, supporting multiple customers including the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) and other DoD customers. The primary focus of this work will involve laser directed energy systems, but High-Power Microwave (HPM) may be involved as well.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Minimum Qualifications of Entry Level Directed Energy Engineer
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a technical field of study including Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related STEM major and 0-3 years of relevant experience. Qualified candidates in their final year of an accredited STEM Bachelor's program will be considered. Transitioning military with prior experience are encouraged to apply. Candidates are not required or expected to possess all qualifications; if you possess some of the desired qualifications, you are encouraged to apply.
