SurvivorNet is Hiring a Media & Business Development Strategist Near New York, NY

The Business Partnership team at SurvivorNet is seeking a Strategist who will have a significant impact on revenue growth by creating media proposals in response to agency and client RFP’s and working across all aspects of our sales process. This role is a great fit if you love crafting presentations and telling a great story. You should enjoy what demanding A-level work requires, know how to get the details right, and be comfortable with deadlines.

A successful candidate will have recent experience in digital media and familiarity with account planning that happens before the sale.

Your Role

  • Develop media proposals in response to RFPs in collaboration with senior sales, product, and executive functions
  • Determine media mix and targeting strategies that align with campaign objectives
  • Revise proposals throughout pre-sale process per client requests and budget changes
  • Create and maintain media plans
  • Process insertion orders and facilitate hand-off to post-sale teams to ensure all stakeholders are aligned on campaign tactics and client expectations
  • Follow and uphold process and procedure around internal requests, cross-team sign-offs and documentation during proposal stages

What SurvivorNet Is Looking For

  • 3 years of experience in media planning, buying or account management at a media publisher or agency
  • Fluency in digital media math, including yield and margin calculation and pricing models (CPM, CPUV, CPA)
  • Experience in Salesforce, Google Ad Manager, or similar systems
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets
  • Experience and comfort with multitasking and working with deadlines
  • Process oriented--you thrive on creating and maintaining best practices for yourself and the teams with which you collaborate
  • Proactive problem-solving and teamwork mindset
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Key information provided below is subject to various eligibility requirements.

  • Salary: $65,000 - $110,000 with very significant quarterly bonus potential
  • Actual salary is based on New York, NY, qualifications and experience. Must be willing to be in the New York Office at least 3 times a week.
