We are hiring a Sushi Chef for Sushi by Bou located in CitizenM hotel.

Compensation: $1400- $1800 (per week, contingent on tips)

Responsibilities

• Life of the party personality
• Interact with guests and anticipate needs
• Manage inventory levels for food ingredients
• Prepare nigiri, sashimi, & handrolls with a wide range of sushi ingredients
• Acute attention to detail in the food preparation process, mastering quality control
• Comply with nutrition and sanitation regulations and safety standards
• Foster a climate of cooperation and respect between co-workers

Qualifications or Requirements

• 2 years Japanese cuisine experience
• Ability to listen to and facilitate special requests from our clients
• Exceptional and proven sushi workspace management ability
• Strength in dividing responsibilities and monitoring progress
• Outstanding communication skills
• Ability to create a positive, fun, and exciting environment by interacting with our clients
• Up to date with culinary trends and sushi preparation processes'
