Job Overview:
Sustain-A-Bowl Pet Supply is currently seeking a part-time employee. As a member of our team, you will play a key role in providing exceptional customer service and assisting with various retail tasks. This position offers flexible hours and the opportunity to work in a pet-friendly environment.
Duties:
- Assist customers in finding the right products for their pets
- Provide product demonstrations and educate customers on the benefits of different pet supplies
- Process customer transactions using the Square point-of-sale (POS) system
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment
- Stock shelves and ensure products are properly displayed
- Assist with inventory management and restocking as needed
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues or concerns
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets
Skills:
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Strong organizational skills to effectively manage inventory and maintain store cleanliness
- Previous experience in retail sales, particularly in nutrition or pet supplies, is a plus
- Ability to conduct product demos and provide detailed information about pet supplies
- Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
