• Leading and supporting staff through all departments with managers and leads through day-to-day café bar operations.
• Driving overall success for financial performance, environment, employees, shift leaders, and customers
• Upholding and enforcing all company policies and procedures, while supporting team members in daily tasks and making our customers feel welcome
• Demonstrating excellent hospitality, executing high-quality beverages, and maintaining a continuous quality improvement environment for our patrons
• Demonstrated ability to drive operational excellence 
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple demands and meet deadlines with attention to detail and organization
• Opening and closing procedures, including cleaning, delegation, accounting, and other checklists
• Keeping and maintaining storage of product through organization, cleanliness, and inventory counts
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Maintenance and upkeep of the POS system, adding removing items modifiers, and all new menu changes
• Managing and leading new employee and manager orientations and training, delegating where appropriate

Qualifications:

• 5 years previous experience in a related management position, leading a team in a high-volume and multi-faceted restaurant
• Strong knowledge of specialty coffee, bar and wine preferred
• Passion for hospitality and guest service
• Valid Food Handler and MAST Certification required.
• Knowledge of culinary operations preferred
• Ability to regularly exercise of independent judgment and discretion
• Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information discreetly and professionally
• Ability to coach and mentor team in all areas of the café bar
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL CONSIDERATIONS Work is performed primarily in a cafe setting with extensive public contact and frequent interruptions. Must be able to stand or walk a minimum eight-hour shift. Requires mobility and prolonged standing, walking, bending and lifting up to 50 lbs.
