Sutton Dermatology Aesthetics is a thriving, physician-owned dermatology practice consisting of four dermatologists, advanced practice providers and experienced support staff.

We are looking for a patient focused Dermatology Aide to join our team.

Hours: Full time, 80 hours per pay period (2 weeks), Monday through Friday, with availability and flexibility between the hours of 7:30 am and 6:15 pm.

The Dermatology Aide assists Dermatology Assistants and Providers within the scope of their certification.

Job duties include but are not limited to:  

• Calls patient from waiting room and escorts them to exam room, preparing them for specialized testing.
• Educates patients on specialized treatment medication process.
• Performs suture removals.
• Assists with sterile processing of instruments
• Transports specimens from patient rooms to Histology lab.
• Ensures cleanliness of exam rooms and maintains with necessary supplies and materials.
• Serves as an assistant to the medical provider, as directed.
• Documents information in medical record as directed by the provider.

Requirements:

• High School diploma, or equivalent
• Medication Aide licensure required within 90 days of employment.
• CPR/BLS required within 60 days of hire.
• Previous medical experience preferred.
• Previous experience in dermatology, or aesthetics field preferred.
• Must be patient focused, a self-starter, dependable, and a team player.
• Position will work in general dermatology as well as our aesthetic center.
