Sutton Park Center for Nursing and Rehab is Hiring a Maintenance worker Near New Rochelle, NY
Sutton Park Center for Nursing is looking for a skilled Maintenance Worker to perform upkeep tasks such as repairs.
This is a per diem position
You will be responsible for applying basic fixes to equipment and building systems and ensuring all is functional.
The ideal candidate must have knowledge of basic maintenance, sheetrock, taping and painting
Responsibilities :
Perform minor fixes such as repairing broken locks, filling gaps on walls etc.
Check control panels and electrical wiring to identify issues
Basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems
Conduct maintenance tasks such as replacing light bulbs
Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and systems (e.g. ventilation)
Check functionality of safety systems (e.g. fire alarm)
Collaborate with workers and other professionals during renovations
Report to the Director of Environmental Services facilities or maintenance manager for issues
Knowledge of Fire Safety Codes, NYS and Federal regulations for nursing homes / healthcare facilities are a plus
Skills :
Experience using hand and electrical tools
Very good communication and interpersonal skills, required
High school diploma or equivalent
Job Type : Per diem
Pay : $24.17 / hr
