The Kingdom East School District, Student Services, is seeking an Intensive Instructional Assistant (IIA) assigned to work at the Sutton School Afterschool Program. This is a part-time position that, if the candidate desires, can request that it be combined with another vacancy to make a full-time position. The candidate must be energetic and loves working with children. The IIA position's purpose is to develop and interpret individual needs of students with disabilities by helping to create and implement behavior expectations and support student activities in consultation with the Kingdom East Afterschool Program staff. Candidates may be required to successfully complete the ParaPro assessment or have an associates or higher degree. Background check, including fingerprinting required upon employment.
