Kingdom East School District seeks a School to Home Coordinator assigned to the Sutton School. The candidate must have excellent communication, networking, and organizational skills to join our team as our School to Home Coordinator (SHC). The School to Home Coordinator supports students and their families, and is highly integrated into the functioning of the school community. The SHC will function in collaboration with the school counselors and school based clinicians with a primary responsibility of working closely with teachers, administrators, families, students and community organizations. The SHC, in partnership with the school counselors and clinicians, helps to identify school, student and family needs and organizes responses consistent with helping students and their families who struggle with some aspect of their lives that impacts the student’s educational achievement. The SHC monitors and implements multi-tiered, research-based educational preventative supports and responses to students, including behavioral and mental health services to address school, family and student needs. No teaching license is required. Licensed school counselor, social worker or mental health counselor preferred.The Kingdom East School District is located in the heart of a vibrant community in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont.
