VP Special Assets / SBA Loans/ REMOTE/ NATIONWIDE
Position SummaryResponsible for the management of the Bank's SBA or commercial related loans identified by Senior Management, Asset Classification Committee requiring above average collection effort. Will work closely with Senior Management, lending personnel to better secure collateral, equity or other assets of the borrower and other activities designed to preserve the loan principal, gather interest as possible, and prevent a loan from being charged off.
Education And ExperienceBachelor's degree from four-year college or university; or four to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Required Skills/Abilities

Required Skills/Abilities
- Experience handling complex commercial credits to include commercial real estate, construction and development, workout strategies, commercial credit analysis, problem loan restructuring, loan documentation, and collection procedures.
- Proven negotiation, problem-solving, decision making and persuasion skills.
- Thorough knowledge of applicable laws as it applies to banking, business loans, bankruptcy, contracts, as well as company products, credit policy, lending procedures and underwriting guidelines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; must be able to effectively communicate with bank personnel of all levels
- High energy multi-tasker with excellent time management skills, the ability to work independently, establish priorities, delegate and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
- Proficient in use of basic computer programs such as MS Word, Excel, Outlook
