Community Affairs Coordinator

Reports To: Catering Manager
Job Summary: Swamp Dawg Restaurant Management Group LLC owns and operates multi-brand, multi-unit restaurants within the Full-Service and Fast-Casual restaurant industry and we are seeking a dynamic and motivated Community Affairs Coordinator to join our team! This role is pivotal in forming and managing community relations, executing integrated marketing strategies to promote our restaurants, and assisting the Catering Manager in acquiring, producing and delivering the catering services SDRMG LLC provides across multiple restaurant locations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for community engagement, confident in communication and outreach, and possesses excellent organizational skills with a passion to grow, learn, and make a true impact within the hospitality industry and the surrounding community.
Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with community leaders, organizations, and local businesses.
• Direct representation of SDRMG LLC at community events, meetings, and relevant activities through catering services.
• Maintain established community outreach programs and marketing efforts to increase brand visibility and engagement.
• Work directly with the Catering Manager to assist in all operational components of producing and completing caterings services at multiple restaurant locations.
• Assist the Catering Manager in acquiring new catering clients through community engagement and marketing efforts.
• Coordinate with multiple restaurant locations to ensure the seamless production and delivery of catering services.
• Help manage catering inquiries, quotes, and customer communications to ensure exceptional service is provided.
• Assist with additional inter-related Marketing responsibilities including promotional events, tastings, and other activities to showcase our catering offerings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Passion for the Hospitality Industry
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to take direction, grow, and learn from industry professionals
• Possesses a continued positive mindset and representation of self and SDRMG LLC
• Creative thinking and problem solving abilities
• Valid Drivers License and willingness to travel locally
