We are seeking a Food Service Assistant to:

• Join our world-class team of doctors, nurses and other health care professionals in providing everything from preventive health care to highly specialized programs.
• Provide quality care in a compassionate patient- and family- centered environment.
• Set up trayline and/or warewashing station per policies and diagrams.
• Ensure patient trays are accurate and served in an eye appealing, efficient manner.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment.
• Follow departmental sanitation and infection control policies when operating dishwasher and pots and pans machines.

Experience/Skills:

• Good oral communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to effectively and respectfully interact with staff and the public within the organization.
• Ability to effectively deal with disgruntled customer and resolve complaints.
• Successful completion of annual job specific competencies and skill verification tools required.

Licenses and Certifications:
Serve Safe Food Handler certification required to be completed within 30 days of hire.

Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds maximum with frequent carrying, pushing/pulling and bending.
Pay:
