Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans and activities
- Provide a safe and supportive learning environment for children
- Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through engaging educational experiences
- Utilize effective classroom management techniques to promote positive behavior
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to support each child's individual needs
- Monitor and assess children's progress, providing feedback and guidance as needed
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, incidents, and observations
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the classroom
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
- Previous experience working with young children in a daycare, preschool, or early intervention setting
- Knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children
- Familiarity with special education strategies is a plus
- Physical education or tutoring experience is beneficial
