Sweetnight Furniture Co.,Ltd is Hiring a Director of Research Development Near Seattle, WA
Responsibilities
- Lead Product Development: Oversee the development of new products from concept to production. This includes conducting market research, defining product specifications, working with design and engineering teams, and coordinating with manufacturing.
- Innovation: Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in mattress technology. Drive innovation by developing new product ideas and improving existing products.
- Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of product developers and engineers. Foster a collaborative and creative environment.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure all products meet or exceed quality standards. Work closely with the quality assurance team to address any issues.
- Patent Management: Manage the company's patent portfolio. This includes overseeing the application for new patents and ensuring the company's products do not infringe on existing patents. Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Product Design, or related field. Advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in product development, preferably in the mattress industry.
- Proven track record of bringing new products to market.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Familiarity with patent application process and intellectual property rights. #J-18808-Ljbffr
