- MIG weld mixed metals from 18 GA to 3/4” as instructed in shop package blueprints.
- Good understanding of reading and following blueprints for VISR structured bases.
- Rework materials as needed by cutting, grinding, bending, and rolling.
- Convert measurements from metric to imperial, fractions to decimals.
- Must have experience with a tape measure, calipers, protractors, squares.
- Must be able to take direction from the area lead and management as needed.
- Communication skills and working well in a team environment.
- Working independently, as required.
- Knowledge in reading blueprint drawings with thorough knowledge of welding symbols.
- Understand and demonstrate knowledge of all welding methods such as Tack Welding, Stitch Welding, Full Continuous welding.
- Measure dimensions of work piece.
- Manual material handling – Must be able to lift 75lbs.
- Job requirements may be changed or altered as needed, depending on business demands.
- Certified on Ladder Safety.
- MIG welding experience.
- Must pass internal weld testing.
- Trained to safely lift materials manually.
- Read and interpret blueprint drawings.
- Use of measuring tape, calipers, protractors.
- Basic conversion from metric/imperial, fractions to decimals.
- Must have good attendance and be punctual.
- Basic computer skills.
- Must be eligible to work in the USA
