**Job Overview:** We are seeking a highly motivated Server Assistant to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for individuals who are eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment. **Responsibilities:** * Assist servers and bartenders in providing a seamless dining experience to guests. * Ensure tables are properly set and maintained throughout the meal. * Manage the clearing of plates and utensils, and maintain cleanliness in the dining area. * Support the kitchen by ensuring food is delivered promptly and to the correct location. * Maintain food safety standards and follow proper food handling procedures. * Assist with banquet and catering events as needed. * Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system efficiently and accurately. * Demonstrate a strong understanding of the menu and make recommendations to guests when necessary. * Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests, taking orders, and handling special requests. * Collaborate with other staff members to ensure efficient and organized service. * Maintain a clean and organized work environment. **Qualifications:** * Prior experience in a restaurant, hotel, or similar setting. * Excellent customer service skills. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask. * Strong communication and teamwork skills. * Knowledge of food safety practices. * Familiarity with culinary terminology and kitchen operations. * Ability to lift and move tables, chairs, and other equipment. * Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends. * High school diploma or equivalent required.
