Summary of Role: Swimlane is seeking an experienced Senior Technical Trainer to join our CX (Customer Experience) team. This is a remote, individual contributor role focused on creating, designing, and delivering product training and documentation for employees, partners, and customers. This role plays a vital part in ensuring our stakeholders are well-equipped to succeed with Swimlane’s security automation solutions.

As a Senior Technical Trainer, you will contribute to Swimlane’s mission by developing and delivering high-quality training materials and sessions that align with our company goals. We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented professional with a passion for learning and development, instructional design, and technical training.


Responsibilities:

  • Assist in structuring a comprehensive product training program for employees, customers, and partners.
  • Develop and deliver engaging product training sessions remotely (live or recorded).
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to create clear, concise product training materials.
  • Maintain and update content in the corporate LMS.
  • Support the development of product certification programs for internal and external teams.
  • Formulate and document training policies and procedures.
  • Track and analyze key training metrics to continuously improve program effectiveness.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including engineering, support, and product management, to ensure training aligns with company priorities.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in a technical field such as computer science or a focus on English, writing, or communications.
  • 5 years of experience in technical training, instructional design, or a similar role.
  • Familiarity with SaaS/cloud products and technologies.
  • Experience with one or more security technologies, such as firewalls, SIEM, or threat analysis.
  • Proficiency in software development or scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, etc.) is a plus.
  • Exceptional writing, production, and editing skills for training content.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to adapt to evolving project requirements.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills, including the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • A self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment.


Location: US Remote, desire Mountain or Pacific time zones

The on target earnings range for this position is $115,000 - $135,000.
