Compensation Range$150,000.00 - $185,000.00 Annual Salary
Job Description SummaryLead the integration and implementation of advanced technology solutions to enhance project delivery and operational efficiency. Oversee installation, operation, and maintenance of construction technology applications including managing technical debt/backlog, piloting new technologies, standardizing tools, overseeing contract renewals, and managing vendor relationships.
Job DescriptionPOSITION RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES
  • Develop and implement construction technology strategies aligned with company objectives
  • Build relationships throughout the company and industry that will assist with understanding business needs and goals
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure technology solutions support organizational growth and innovation
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends and evaluate their potential applicability to the construction technology stack
  • Maintain awareness of field operations needs, challenges and opportunities through jobsite observation, operations meetings and relationships
  • Provide regular updates to Sr management on technology initiatives, performance metrics and strategic recommendations
  • Manage the budget for assigned product teams, optimizing resource allocation for maximum impact
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of technology professionals
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment
  • Provide regular performance feedback and support professional development
  • Oversee the installation and implementation of construction technology applications
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget
  • Develop detailed project plans, allocate resources, and track progress
  • Assess risk associated with technology implementations and develop mitigation strategies to minimize distractions
  • Manage the operation of technology applications, ensuring they are reliable and efficient
  • Address technical debt and manage the backlog of requests for enhancements and fixes
  • Provide technical support and resolve issues promptly
  • Maintain product documentation (i.e. application architecture with integrations)
  • Lead pilot projects for emerging technologies with remote users
  • Establish and maintain KPIs to track business value of pilots
  • Collect and analyze feedback from pilot projects to assess feasibility and effectiveness
  • Develop business cases to standardize successful tools across the enterprise
  • Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of technology initiatives
  • Use data-driven insights to inform decision-making and improve project outcomes
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership
  • Oversee contract renewals and ensure favorable terms and condition
  • Manage relationships with vendors, ensuring effective communication and collaboration
  • Evaluate vendor performance and hold them accountable to service level agreements (SLAs)
  • Complete other responsibilities as assigned
Minimum Skills And Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field preferred
  • 10 years of experience in construction technology management
  • Construction operations or related industry experience would be beneficial
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams
  • Proven experience leading effective teams and leading technology projects
  • Proficiency with construction management platforms such as Autodesk Build, Procore, BIM 360, simPRO, FieldWire, OpenSpace, CMiC, Bridgit, Destini, and other construction technology platforms
  • Proven track record of leading technology implementations and driving user adoption
  • Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects
  • Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and critical thinking skills
  • Proficiency in data analysis and KPI development
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and team management abilities.
  • Experience with contract management and managing vendor relationships
  • Knowledge of industry standards, emerging technologies, and sustainability initiatives in construction
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Preferred certifications: ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library), Six Sigma, PMP (Project Management Professional), CSM (Certified Scrum Master) TOGAF 9 (The Open Group Architecture Framework)
