The Food and Beverage Supervisor assists the Food and Beverage management in organizing and monitoring work processes to ensure ultimate guest service, satisfaction and operational objectives

EssentialJobFunctions:

• Assign work and supervise beverage service.
• Conduct pre-shift huddles. Communicate effectively with team providing support, timely feedback and recognition of performance.
• Work with management to ensure that team members’ clearly understand their roles, responsibilities, and performance expectations. Ensure department goals are properly communicated, understood, and met by team members.
• Ensure guests are properly served and all policies and procedures with regard to the safe and efficient service of alcohol, liquor laws and regulations are strictly followed.
• Ensure servers maintain knowledge of menu items and any specials offered. Provide updates of menu changes and daily specials.
• Coordinate tasks and work with other departments to ensure ultimate service.
• Counsel team on work related concerns and issues to ensure satisfaction and productivity. Keeps management appraised of team member activities, issues, challenges, etc.
• Solicit team members’ suggestions for improving how work is done and guests are served. Gain management support as needed to act upon suggestions.
• Work with management to ensure team members have necessary tools and resources to properly accomplish work.
• Address guest concerns, requests, or issues either individually or by enlisting the help of management.
• Collaborate with management to develop and carry-out ideas and procedures to continuously improve department performance around guest service and market matrix scores.
• Ensure that beverage areas and service stations are clean and stocked.Ensure team completes all side work in a timely and satisfactory manner.
• Coordinates in troubleshooting technical problems with Point of Sale System, from both a hardware and software perspective.
